Charity Outreach Committee

The charity outreach committee is a group of people within the church who undertake fundraising activities, which specifically benefit local charitable causes. These activities bring alive the teaching of our Lord, when he said "in as much as you have done it to these, the least of my brethren, you have done it to me".

For more information on how to become involved, please call Julie Aboud e-mail at immalbert@aol.com.

St. Nicholas Wonderworker Fund
“And the King will answer and say to them, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these My brethren, you did it to Me.’” (Matthew 25:40)

Our Lord Jesus Christ commands us to reach out to those who are less fortunate, and to share a portion of our blessings with them.  In taking His command to heart, we are to do our best to help those in need.

It may surprise you, but we have individuals and families with children right here in our own
congregation struggling every day to meet basic needs.   They need
assistance  with  food,
clothing, healthcare, and utility bills.

To assist with this ministry, we have  established the St. Nicholas Wonderworkers Fund.  We ask the contributors to pledge their support at a level of $25.00, $50.00 or $100.00 per month for one year, and to consider renewing this commitment each year.  With these pledges we can make solid commitments to financially assist our brothers and sisters in need.

Our assistance is administered by our Charity Committee in order to maintain strict  confidentiality of the identity of those we serve.

Please help us to help others.  The greatest gift that we can give is to help others lift themselves up in time of need.
For more information about the Wonderworker Fund please contact Julie Aboud.
